Clean Up Resources

We will proceed to delete the resources in the following order:

  1. Delete NAT Gateway NAT Gateway NAT Gateway

  2. Delete Elastic IPs EIPs EIPs

  3. Delete Auto Scaling Group Auto Scaling Group Auto Scaling Group

  4. Delete Load Balancer Load Balancer Load Balancer

  5. Delete Target group Target group Target group

  6. Delete Launch template Launch template Launch template

  7. Delete AMIs AMIs AMIs

  8. Delete EC2 instances EC2 instances EC2 instances

  9. Delete Database RDS RDS RDS

  10. Delete Route tables

    • We have to delete the subnet associations of each route table first (go to subnet -> table associations -> edit subnet associations -> unchecked the assigned subnets -> save) Route tables
    • Delete route table Route tables Route tables

  11. Delete Internet Gateway

    • detach IGW from VPC Internet Gateway
    • Delete IGW Internet Gateway

  12. Delete VPC VPC VPC

  13. Delete S3 bucket

    • Empty bucket S3 bucket
    • Delete bucket S3 bucket
